i just bought a 1995 Eagle Talon Esi just last week (5spd) and one night coming back from Wal-Mart i realized that there was a lot of tranny fluid leaking from the transmission so i park it and the next day drive it into the garage and jack it up to take a look and i come to realize that the tranny case has a crack right above the drain plug it is so big that it goes through one of the fins... my father made some calls and says that i will need to look for a new manual transmission so i went online and search but i haven't found much at all...

i was wondering if any one out there knows any good places where i could get a used, rebuilt, or new manual tranny for my car any help would be great thanx

here is some quick specs: non-turbo 2.0L FWD, tranny code is F5MC1

Well it would be alot of work but would also SAVE you a ton of money but could you weld it up??? Maybe just maybe if you were lucky enough you leave the trnny in and get it from underneath. Do you know anybody who does GOOD aluminum welding?

i've heard the pt cruiser tranny has a bit more torque than our and is a good upgrade for us 2gnt's. something to think about...trust
