NE Ohio DSMers?

Some heat-shielding fabric for a (planned - been verrrry busy the past two weekends both getting a ride for the wife [WRX, her lease is up on her Civic EX] as well as looking for a house [we're both trying to "grow up" ]) heat-barrier for my intake area as well as some RedLine fluids and VHT NightShades.

I've been having a heck of a time finding any of this stuff locally here in Cleveland and surrounding "Heights" areas.

My good buddy is a muscle-car guy, and I do love all their shiny and big-displacement parts, too, so I some-times go along for the entertainment value.

Next trip out there probably won't happen for a few more months, as I'm more than likely going to go with some additional gauges at that point (oil and fuel press., amp, and *_maybe_* volt., a true pre/post intercooler dual-temp., and shift-light) and would like a first-hand survey of what's available.

This post is a little old but I just thought I would let all you Ohio DSMers know about a show and race at Quaker City Raceway in Salem. I went to it last year and the turn out was pretty weak, but I was there early and left early. All of the events and eliminations happened after I left. It looks like they are calling it the Super Bowl of Sound this year, and it is on July 17th. Sorry for the short notice. I believe it starts at 8 a.m. but I'll be hung over so I doubt I'll be there early again. Check out all the info on Quaker City's web site. There was 4 DSM's there last year but only two were turbo and both were stock. It looks like they have advertised this year better and they have vendors and sponsors at the track. Bring your chairs and cooler (beer is aloud) and come spend the day hopefully in the sun and see lots of slow cars and a few fast ones.
