the wire one comes from the harness by the radiator, the blue one stems from the altnator. i think the blue one is the stock oil pressure unit to the factory gauges...

I'm 99.9% sure that wire goes to the stock location for the oil pressure gauge (NOT the idiot light)...It's on the oil filter housing. On the end to the rear of the car...If your running an aftermarket gauge it will not be hooked up...

As per this thread http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...047-2g-engine-bay-electrical-connections.html and double checking my own car, the power steering wire is light blue/ white stripe, oil pressure(dash gauge) is yellow, and oil pressure(dummy light) is yellow/ brown stripe.


This is for a 2g, 1g's are most likely different.

My colors are a bit different from yours...

For that blue wire just see how far it reaches...If it reaches to the back of the filter housing it goes to the gauge...If it only make it to the front it goes to the idiot light...
