I just would like some verification about a couple of concerns I have regarding n/t parameters I am looking for.
When doing WOT runs, where would the optimal targeted o2 voltage be? I always heard around .92-.94 is ideal where anything under .9 would be too lean.
Also, how low should the timing drop to achieve the best performance numbers. I did a few runs and it seemed to be all over the place, usually in the low 30's with a few drops down to 27. Before I did the latest mods and did a few runs (over a year ago) I thought I remembered it being consistantly in the 20's, even as low as 23. I am currently under the process of tuning, unsuccessfully I might add, so any suggestions would be appreciated. I also have larger cams with adjustable cam gears which are causing me problems as well since I don't have them dialed in perfectly yet either. Most of this needs to be done at a dyno and with that, remap the fuel and timing curves to adjust to my new set-up. But I am just trying to do as much as I can out of my garage for now. Thanks for the help.
