So I recently bought what I think is a 95 eclipse gst with a seized motor ..i think I got a 4g63 motor. What are my best options to Do.. either tear down motor and try to salvage what I can or find same donor motor

Hard to answer the question really. Seized motor could mean a lot of things. Depending on what's going on with it, it might be worth pulling, rebuilding and putting back in the car. If there's substantial damage due to being seized it might be better to replace it. You need to some digging and find out more specifically what's going on with the motor. And .... first ... figure out what motor you have. Advice is going much different depending on whether you have a 4G63 or a 420A.

Dear God.

Good luck with that. You will probably end up putting more into it then it would cost to buy a running car.

Tbh after a long bath for the car.and its not too bad...sure the paint is crap but Im just there for the engine and turbo I'm selling it as a parts car too ...so lmk if you need anything if your in tampa bay area

To answer your question though .... yes, you have the 4G63 turbo model - which is a plus. Judging by the look of the intake manifold you have a 7 bolt most likely. What year is the car? If that CL ad didn't say, you can check the manufacture sticker on the door jam.

Well if you bought it as a project for something to do stick with it man. There fun little cars and great tools to learn with. Also parts aren’t really to expensive and have great mod abilitie.
