can anyone here speak of what the differences between the two. Isnt the n/a made of a different material and would if be safe to say to run 500-550awhp with it or find a turbo crank?

Nt cranks are the same. The difference is no oil squirters, different pistons. The cranks should be the same. Even the 1g N/T's have the 1g big rods.

Some of the NT cranks do not have the nitride process which concentrates carbon near the surface to harden the surface. This, BTW, is why you may not want to 'turn' some cranks.

I'm running a n/t block casting and n/t crank. Make your own judgements. I currently run 35psi and my 1/4 mile times are in the profile on the left of your screen.

Awesome, exactly what I am looking for someone that can speak for it. I also believe it's within the machining of the parts and getting everything put back together just right to make everything work.

Thanks you all for your comments.

Oh yes, the NT stuff works. All the stock 4G64 stuff is NT. Go with it.

I assume that he was talking about a 4g63 N/T right? I'm running a bone stock N/T 4g63 bottomend -BS on 24psi on a b16g. I've been doing this for about a year now.

Did you machine the block for oil squirters or did you leave those out?
