I have a bad passenger side axle on my talon and I was wondering if my wheel bearing was bad as well. I jacked it up and I could move side to side and forwards and backwards. I noticed that that this is wearing the inside of my tire. Could it just be the axle or is it the bearing thats bad? I think I have a 2g tranny because about a year ago I replaced the driver side axle and I had to get a 2g axle because the 1g was to small. The spline on the tranny didn't fit. If the bearing is bad should I get a 2g bearing or a 1g. Hope you can help ### it's confusing!WTF

You have to get a 1g bearing! Make sure the axle nut is tight to specs because a loose axle will cause the wheel to wobble.
