who cares about the coating...the piston design and metal is more important. Take the pistons and everything else to www.cryoscience.com if you are that serious. There is several threads about bad experience with Weiscos on 2gnt..

The 2.4 will have more torque than you can imagine, a complete short block w/alummnium rods from www.forwardmotioninc.com will let you spin to xxxxrpm.. but seriously do you think are drivetrain will take that.? I don't think so..

Did you think about your Head (I'm guessing it's stock), if you want to rev that high? It's not even possible unless you dump another 1500 into it. I spent about 1600 on a new head r/r with everything.

You want to sell your EMS?...DSM-ZERO I'm getting dissapointed in you...

yes I know the stock head will not that high of rpm, SO right now Iam not going to spon that high but for now it is going to have to do
we will see if the drivetrain will take it and I'll let everyone know

can you give us specifics on how to do that? parts? tools? technique? thanks

My manifold was off because we welded the egr shut
so
I drilled it and tapped it the I screwed a nipple in there
you can get a tap set from any auto zone realy the only special tool you need well you need a drill also

Pulled the motor today
also
Iam not going to get Wiseco pistons anymore because the shop could not order them
SO
I got JE instead

I'll post more pic's tomorrow

oh I LOVE CAPRI SUN :dsm:

New pic of intake manifold and fuel rail
How does your fuel set-up work for you with the AFPR? Are you still using the FMU? What size injectors?

so you run the fuel send to the aeromotive FPR, then to the rail, then the return on the rail goes back to the tank? Did you have that rail custom maid, or did you buy it?

No this is how it flows in order
255 intake
-6an high pressure fuel line
custom fuel rail
AFPR 1:1
-6an return line to tank

I made the fuel rail at my friends shop

hey sorry to ask my question in your post but i don't understand the 1:1 ratio thing. so my turbo fuel system consists of a walbro 255 and a vortec 12:1 fmu. and yours is the same fuel pump and a 1:1 fpr. the 12:1 ratio in mine means at every 1 psi of boost i get 12 psi fuel. and that keeps me from running lean which=heat=boom or just destroys the motor. how does the 1:1 fpr work? if it works like the fmu you only get 1 psi fuel with 1 psi boost. would that not make you run lean?

my other question is you said your fpr comes after the fuel rail. should it come before it? or since the whole system is under the same pressure it does not matter about the order.(like a electric circut)

thanks in advance.

The Aeromotive allows you to adjust your static fuel pressure "your idle pressure" and will and 1 psi of fuel for 1 psi of boost
To avoid running lean I just run a high static pressure

The AFPR comes after the fuel rail to maintain the pressure in the fuel rail :dsm:

havnt talked to you for a while, remember we met when you lived in aurora.. i guess we can run em' now ;)
