looks cool hope you can get another fmic. that sucks i hope you find the people that took it and light them up with a m4.(thats a rifle) did you cut a n/a cai and turn it into your intake? if so i was going to do that too. and what kinda of fmu is that i have not seen it before?
 
Yes I know what a Colt M4 is I use to own one and I hope to use it but that will have to wait because a baby need's to stay cool and I have to get another intercooler

The DP and IC are all custom
I know I spent almost $4000 on everything instaled

You can tell you really put a lot of effort into it and it definetly paid off :thumb: :dsm: oh btw I feel for you about your IC, fits my car good though..............j/k, I hope you called the cops/your insurance company(if it was stolen from your personal residence, homeowners should cover it)

No no cops called and I don't have the turbo kit on my insurance so they would not cover it .
the car is parked out-side of a shop were I am getting some transmission work done
it's parked inside there "bull pen" it a gated off parking lot and on top of the gate is barbed wire so they must have jumped the fence and stole the I/c but no worries I'll get a new one from www.phantom-motorsoprts.com on friday they are also the one's who did the turbo kit the guy's name is Thomas he is a good friend of mine he is from Puerto Rico so he know's alot about turbo's

He told me to get a new FMIC 24X12X3 and re-do the Alum. I/C piping $600 what do you guy's think of that price
 
funny you should say something about puerto rico, I saw something on tv the other day about the import scene there, it's fu**ing nuts! those guys do whatever they want literally LOL. 600 don't sound too bad, getting my upper IC pipe done in polished alum for about 100, you'll see what I'm talking about when I get it done thurs. or Fri.

how much $ is that looking to be, if you dont mind sharing, trying to decide if i wanna do this, or just start with low boost :dsm:

If you have to rebuild the bottom end, why not go for the 2.4? I wouldn't buy those cheap Weiscos either...

I like the Weisco because of the coating's and alot of people approve of this piston

why not 2.4 because I am going to be spinning the motor to 10k and the 2.4 will have alot harder time doing that
also for simplicty reasons, why I won't go 2.4
 
who cares about the coating...the piston design and metal is more important. Take the pistons and everything else to www.cryoscience.com if you are that serious. There is several threads about bad experience with Weiscos on 2gnt..

The 2.4 will have more torque than you can imagine, a complete short block w/alummnium rods from www.forwardmotioninc.com will let you spin to xxxxrpm.. but seriously do you think are drivetrain will take that.? I don't think so..

Did you think about your Head (I'm guessing it's stock), if you want to rev that high? It's not even possible unless you dump another 1500 into it. I spent about 1600 on a new head r/r with everything.



You want to sell your EMS?...DSM-ZERO I'm getting dissapointed in you...
 
How did you run your wastegate pipe? Did you dump it into your downpipe? I want to make a bend like you did and dump it in the downpipe... the only thing is, without a flex section, I don't want the weld to break. Let me know what you did.

Setup looks incredible.
