my tsi died?

ok so today i drove my car to school, to jack in the box, dropped off a friend, and it drove fine,... then i found out my friend i dropped off, found some random kids backpack at jack in the box, and took it and left it in my car, and the kid was calling me like 20 times to get it back... so i walk back to my car (which was driving perfectly fine 10 minutes before) and i put the key in, turn it, and it starts, so i put the key in the on position or whatever, and look at the tac, and the second i look at it, it drops and dies... so i start it again, but this time i have my foot over the gas so if it happens again i could give it gas and keep it up for a little and then see if it idles fine,... i do that, and after i let off, it dies... then i popped the hood and waited a while, and started it again, finally it didnt stall, and i didnt have to give it any gas, but it was going from 600 to 400 rpms, back and forth, so i let it run for a while, and then it finally is back to normal,... and seems ok,... my question is,.... wtf....its acting like it did when the spark plugs werent in all the way, but they are now, and i checked them, they are fine...i was watching the oil pressure for a little while, and it seems that it might have been a little low... but i cant tell cuz i dont watch it normally at idle and startup...

when it stalled, what does the cel monitor anyways? just the o2?

CEL monitors a LOT more than just the O2 sensors, Misfires, Fuel System, Timing Belt, Power steering, etc.

that totally confused me...something about jack in the box and stolen back packs

hopefully you figure out the problem before you let it idle and stall like that too much, my 92 gst did something like this once and ended up with spun bearings. the problem with my car ended up being leaking caps in the ecu

why the backpack story was nessisary, to tell you guys it was driving fine like 10 minutes before, and also, i was pissed that someone would leave a stolen backpack in my car,... anyways, ill check the ecu right now... if i have to get a new ecu thats going to be a bi***,....hopefully i can just get the 105's and be done with it....

edit: ran fine today, and i woke up at 6(cold and wet...) cuz the seniors were going to pull a prank on us sophmores which would basically shaft all the sophmores parking wise,.... got there when there was like 5 spots left.... thank god....

take off your throttle body and clean out the whole thing with brake disc cleaner or something of that sort, its the ISC motor im assuming. its an easy fix.

damnit, had an appointment to go to newlogics today, but the part i was getting backordered so i didnt go, and i was going to have him replace the capacitors too......

AND TO MAKE IT EVEN WORSE.....

THEY BLEW TODAY....

i checked, they're gone...

i figured it was all of my problem,... either way, im not driving it til i get the ecu fixed,....
