My RWD Eclipse (25.1e full tube chassis)

Nice garage, what did it end up costing to build it? I am kinda in the same situation with my truck build, we are looking into houses and I don't want to start back on the project since it is running and mobile with the mitsu 5 speed trans right now.

The garage is 30x40 and the walls are 11ft 1/2". It is insulated with r19 and the roof is R50. The doors and windows are also insulated. I did all of it myself except the foundation. So far the total cost is around 17,000. The biggest pain was the roof (trusses & shingles), soffit, facia and hanging the doors. The rest is just time consuming. Taping and mudding is taking a while, but its because its huge. If you build one, consider putting Armor Seal on the floor or something similar, so you can drag tannys, spill gas and oil and not worry abou it

Oh man. A big garage is awesome. It looks real nice too.

Good stuff. I was considering buying a steel building kit, back when I was pricing them, a 40X60 with 12' walls, two garage doors and a man-door with insulated walls and roof was ~18-20k, I am sure it has went up some since then.

Oh no, the car is not done already ... not even close. There is a chance it might fire up this year I will make sure to update the thread on tuning.bg I totally forgot about it.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but any updates on this ride? Did it ever get finished?

The car was sold off last year to someone else. The chassis was partially finished and was sold as a work-in-progress (essentially in the same condition as the 2007 photos). I forgot who purchased it.

I believe this ran at the 2010 Shootout. If not, then it is identical to one that did.

This car was for sale a few months back. If Im not mistaken, Vassil is from MN. He had it up on the local mitsu forum as well. It was sold, but I have not heard much, of to who owns it now.
