I will be updating this daily. Here is the background on my 1G 1991 Eagle Talon FWD NT.
I bought the car in October of 2008.
It was completely stock.
The day I got it, the RF axle popped out.
Replaced axle.
The next day, that axle popped out.
Took everything off the front end of the car.
Found out the crossmember (K- Frame) was bent.
Replaced crossmember.
Replaced axle.
Replaced both caliper brackets.
Car then stayed together for awhile.
Replaced ball joints, wheel bearings, rotors, and brakes.
Replaced Alt. belt.
After all that, I blew my engine. I just pulled the engine yesterday. I will be getting a new engine very soon. While the engine is out right now, i am...
Tossing out the AC system and Power Steering.
Undergoing INTENSE and OBSESSIVE cleaning to the engine bay.
Unbolting piece by piece, sanding, and painting (brackets, bolts, etc).
Also cleaning out the interior.
Eliminating as much weight as possible.
Again, I am updating this daily and am working on the talon quite a bit.
