LamboORG97GSX - Lucky!! My g/f is from Colorado and she wants to move back there I am so tempted just because of the emission laws here in CA. But then again I love the weather here and my dsm has never been in the snow.

The tails look sick. I would love to have a set. Why didnt you use the stock center peice? I have seen alot of ppl painting the center ect. Personally I like the center stock

I painted the center piece in 2001 when I got the car. I dunno as a kid with no money I wanted to do any mod I could I guess. LoL I currently havea oem center piece with a carbon fiber overlay I'm going to instal when I get time.

It's hard to turbo a non turbo car here in CA and not have to take it off when you get pulled over for altered emissions. I have already recieved a state referee ticket and after is was all done I paid $633.

It's confusing to me when people talk about problems modding cars in CA, because I've lived here a long time and have owned my DSM, as well as a couple of other cars, and my gf has a turbo'd RSX. Yet we've never had any problems.

Wow, lucky! I know a bunch of guys on www.ladsm.com have also gotten reff tickets. Cops will pull you over for modified exhaust or no front plate then make you pop your hood and if they see mods without carb legal decals or executive order numbers you get a ticket to visit the state reff and it can not be signed off.

Good thing you didnt leave the center piece stock, because that looks terrible when you have say carbon fiber altezzas with a stock center piece. Id say your setup is nice though

nice tails I have the same ones on my awd spyder and also have the folding mirror's and the fender blinkers.

TKRperformance: Nice tails. Where are the folding mirrors from? The fender lights are like the ones on honda's? Why yould you need those if there's a light on the bumper near the fender?

the fender light's are oem mitsubishi for the eclipse and fto I got them with the tails from a buddy in japan. the bumper lights did not light up on the few that were sent over seas.
the mirrors cam from the uk of a 98 that I traded the us mirrors for.

Nice, I bought the tails froma guy in Germany but my Dad often goes to Germany for business so I am going to try and get a few sets of tails and sell them here but I never knew about the mirrors. I may have to try and get a pair. I don't have the fender lights because I don't want to drill into my cf fenders but that's cool you have them. Very unique. Any more pictures of the mirrors?
