my New prototype 18" wheels... +5hp!!!

hahaha... no, they're not prototype and they dont give me 5hp... but they are new.
I haven't seen a dsm anywhere with these wheels, but I think they will look good so that's why I bought them. They are 18"x7.5" with 40mm offset, and I still have to buy tires for them. what would you guys suggest as a good tire to keep me from rubbing? I was thinking maybe a 225/35/18, but I dunno. Oh, I also have a 1.5" drop on the car so once I put these on, I won't have much gap.

Anyways... let me know what you think.

Eh. Not THAT bad of a wheel. IMO they look like a OEM wheel off another car w/ the same bolt pattern as a DSM. Thats just my opinion though.

I think those are what the '05 Eclipse rims willl look like, check the last SCC.

But I am not a fan of them, if you are going for wieght, then get thin 5 spoke. If you want to look good. . . well those wouldnt be in the top 100 choices. But you could paint them some other color.

haha dang.. i figured at lest one person would like them.

to answer questions, they came off of an '04 nissan murano. the nissan delership across the street gave them to me for 75$, and they look a hell of a lot better than the stockers i think. plus they're 7.5" wide so i can put some good tires on them. I mean hey, at least its not as bad as a big wing and a bodykit.

looks like he already got them. You can't find a better deal for 75$. Heck, you can't even get some decent stockers for that much! They don't tickle my fancy either, but my mother has a murano with those wheels on them, and they're definately not garbage (795$ each dealer price).

you gotta remember though that not all of us can afford to drop 500$ down on some nice name brand rims plus another 400$ for good tires. like i said, if you could see the condition my stockers are in, you would think these are better also.

Why exactly are they garbage? Wrong offset/don't fit? Way too heavy? Poorly made? Or they just don't suit your taste??
