My new 93 GSX - So Clean!

Just posting up some pics and info on the recent 93 GSX I picked up. Only really bought it b/c it was so clean. It's currently fabbed and tuned by Tym Switzer but gradually it will be changing setups and fabbed/tuned by me.

My plans for the car are to build a forged 2.0l bottom end, mild head with Kiggly springs, larger cams, etc. I also plan to take the GVR4 1st gear out of the trans and have it freshened up by my buddy Jon at TRE. I also plan on adding a JMFab or Shearer topmount with something along the lines of a BWS362 or 366, some FIC bluemax injectors with a nice E85 tune. I may also modify my stock black leather seats to accept harnesses and install them. I also plan to swap over my complete all black interior from another GSX and get rid of the grey interior. Other plans and mods TBD.

The car's very clean. Inside, outside, engine bay, etc. The previous owner did a great job making it look this nice, and the rear seat delete was done very well too.

Unfortunately, its not perfect. It desperately needs all suspension bushing all around, as well as ball joints, tie rods, etc. I've already fixed a rear brake caliper issue as well as replaced a shot RF axle.


By the Way, the car will be at the Shootout this year!

Same here, the intake is a custom Switzer VSR style manifold. Similar to an AMS or JMF VSR, with a bit of Tym's helping hand, like the angled TB flange, and the inset runners in the plenum. I don't think you can find many Switzer manifolds like this.
