thank you

looks pretty damn good to me. The only thing is that timing drops 2 degrees from 64 to 66 hundred rpms. YOu should check that out.

how would you suggest I check this out??

I wonder why the maf stops reading at 1604... ?? anyone?

Well I am not sure about a 1g but on a 2g we lose timing because of many things, coolant being over 206*, ambient air being too hot and things like that. Now your ambient air is pretty good at 67*. I would first check and see how hot your coolant gets. And go from there.

A 1g is supposed to lose a bunch of timing as it approaches redline because that's what the timing map is set to. It doesn't happen because you're doing anything wrong. It's not ideal but it was probably put there by Mitsubishi just in case to keep the engine from blowing up at redline due to potential knock.

The airflow Hz cuts out at 1606 because that's as high as a logger can read. Everyone's is like that unless they've modified their ECU to not do it.

Coolant stays pretty steady at 206.4, between 203 and 209..

from the log it doesn't seem to affect timing..?

Thank you. the car loves the E85....:thumb:

He was letting off the gas it appears, according to the TPS.

Because thats all the logger can read because its retarded.
Theres a feature with chipped ecus that can cut that number in half of what the logger shows and all you have to do is just mentally double it to get your maf values.
So i think it maxes out at 1606, that would mean you were at 3212 with that feature.
Something like that.

If it went 209 degs it held back a deg of timing.
Do a coolant flush and fill it with distilled water and water wetter and run way less coolant in the mix. ( I run mines like that, except i dont run coolant at all. Just distilled water and a bottle of water wetter.)

Try a cold air intake also, air temps going beyond a certain point retard timing also.

Lucky you....... Me and pump gas are like :beatentodeath:
