I simply don't understand. Its like putting LCDs in a Miatas rear seats. I would have put thim in the Visors or something thats all.

i know what u mean but... its the same thing with people who rice out neons.. If they wanna do it just point, laugh and then let them be. Plus if he does car shows, i think it looks pretty sweet like that. Kinda like people who point monitors out of the side rear windows so people outside can watch it.

Very clean install! how hard was it for you to relocate the climate control to the glovebox? I plan on fiberglassing a 10" Touchscreen in my dashbaoard, controling a mini-pc that will be in the armrest.

i dont understand why people always trip over headrest tvs in spyders.. its not like the spyder is a 2 seater. yes it has no room in the back.. but you can still fit 2 people back there.. thats what the rear seats are for.. if your gonna trip out on headrest tvs why dont you trip out at mitsubishi for having rear seats. it would be different if the car was a 2 seater with no back seat & u had tv in the headrest.. but in this case it does have back seats.


FromVtec2Boost: acually its pretty easy to relocat the HVAC to the glovebox.. i thought it would be really hard, but all the vent control cables reach the glovebox with more than enough slack.. only thing you have to do is extend 3 sets of power plug.. nothing a roll of wire & a soldering iron wont do..

My friend did that to his 97 trailer queen. Occassionally he does take it out on Saturday night's though.

I like that not a big fan of the yellow mirror though.

thats a tight paint job.. i dont think the mirrors the only thing that is yellow or gold.. the whole top is gold or yellow.. looks kinda koo to me.. but if its only the mirror that would look ghey!

did some more work today.. finished relocating the HVAC to the glove box..

still have so much to do.. gotta wire up the tvs, make sure no wires are seen, strap down the airbag tv..

theres 3 vent cables ..
1 to adjust air from recirculate air to fresh air.
1 to adjust the vents.
1 or hot & cold..

2 of the cables will reach to the glovebox no problem. only one that wont reach is the one that adjusts your vents.. i just went to Lordco here in Vancouver Canada & bought a longer cable for $10

as for electric wires.. its pretty much basic extending 3 plugs.. only thing you have worry about is to make sure the wire u r extending matches the gauge wire of the car wires.. dont use smaller wires or the wire is gonna get really hot.

why did you move the freshair to recirculate air from the center vent up top? did you have to? or do you have plans for that area???? i had only planned on moving the two by the radio?

looks good but you need a different steering wheel IMO. i dont think i could stand driving a car that had a white interior though. it seems like it would get dirty REALLY fast.

must be nice to have nice things and not having to check to make sure it still here all the time. heck I almost have my car done and I am alway thinking that when I come home from work th garage will be ripped open and the car wil be gone.

i didnt hook up that part when i relocate Hvac.. i always leave it set to fresh air cus sometimes i smoke in my car & it tends to stick the car when its set to recirculate.

it wasnt too bad.. most expensive part was the tvs.. but i got a deal on it..

-2 7.5" tvs = $150
-fiberglass, resin, sandpaper .. materials.. blablabla = $80
-case of beer = $28
-lots of elbow grease & time = free

well its really not bad.. lots of people think white interior gets dirty fast.. it does but if you think about it.. 50% of the panels in my car are painted with car paint.. (nothing a soap & water wont do) the other 50% is wrapped in vinal .. as long as you whipe down your interior when you wash your car ill stay clean..

Hey bud, I was gonna do the same thing about puttin my monitor in the air bag, if I take the bag out, will it make my srs light go on constantly or is there a way around it?
