my custom front bumper

I for one, love this. Why buy a carbon fiber hood for heat dissapation when parked when you can chop a gigantic hole in the front of your car. Thats functional as hell, I applaud you. I'm a big hater of spray stenciling on FMIC's though. That looks tacky any day of the week. I don't think the homeless people I run down in my dsm will have time to admire my sweet stencilings.

I like it, do you always drive with the headlights setup like that? I prefer them to be down all the time but I see you smoked out the front. You smoke them yourself? pm me when you get a chance

This is one mod I wish no DSM owner did. I think it ruins the clean lines on the front of our cars. I understand function, but at what cost? Having said that, its your car so if you like it thats all that matters!

I like It In fact I ended up doing the samething to my bumper ETS fmic was to big so I had to cut the bumper to make It work. I think It came out looking good tho:hellyeah:

Tinting the lights is easy to do, especially on the fake 1ga headlights. Just pick up a can of Niteshades from your local parts store. If you want light to shine through, follow the directions on the can. If you want the lens blacked out, completely ignore the directions and spray it on till your satisfied.

I love it! Probably one of very few cut bumpers that actually look nice. Kind of reminds me Supra front bumpers, more for the fact that you can see all of the IC. Great work!

It would off looked better if you wouldn't cut it squared, If you look at the OP, he did rounded, that makes a big, But Big difference, It looks almost stock which yours looks a little off.

Had no choice this fmic was to big for the bumper to go back on correctly. I had to do what I had to do to make my bumper go back on. And the tool that I was using wouldn't allow me to cut round besides this was done not cause of looks but cause of fitment and airflow!!!!!!

I love it because it reminds me of my 90 I sold. I kick myself every day for that! I love the way you cut it, I wish I would've done that to mine. Looks awesome!
