mustache bar STUDS loose?

I dropped the rear sub-frame and I noticed that the rear "studs" that the mustache bar bolts to are a little lose (they wobble a few degrees). Should they be rock solid tight? Are they simple to get at if I lift the carpet in the hatch, or does a lot of plastic have to come out?

They're supposed to float like that. You can't get to them from inside the car, they're underneath the floorpan sheetmetal.

Im not sure about the wiggle , as im sure when you tighten the up with the mustache bar on they wont move. And yes lift the carpet and there they are.

ok cool. I was a little worried, the front ones are rock solid (derrr held in by three bolts).

I figured if they did wiggle a little they wouldn't do much once the whole assembly is bolted in, as rsawd stated. Thanks a bunch.

What is a mustache bar?

It's the locating/mounting brace that connects part of the rear diff to the rear subframe. It's called the "mustache bar" because it looks like a mustache.
