Okay. I have three noises/vibrations in the drive line of this 92 tsi awd I purchaced recently.
The first is the most violent, I can't make it happen, just does it randomly. It sounds like the driveshaft falls out of the tcase and slams around. Really loud and lasts ~10 secs then goes away like it never happened. It sounds the same weather its on accel/decel/neutral.
The second is a high frequency vibration that I think is coming from the rear of the car, its just a very minor trembling when going under 20mph.
Last the steering wheel shakes back and forth while driving. Not really sure what this is either.
The car sat for about a year or two and it has close to 180k on it.
Anyone have any ideas? I really need to get the first one figured out asap.
