Vibrations/Rattling

Ok so my car was giving me these vibrations, just shaking the entire car. From about idle to around 2800-3000 the vibrations are very heavy. Around 2800 there is like a metal ticking sound for a second coming from outside of the car. Dont know exactly where it is but every single time at that rpm it does it. As i get higher up in the gears it's not as pronounced of a sound. After 3k rpms the vibrations totally go away, its like its a totally different vehicle. Car shifts fine, except sometimes second doesnt like to accept the shift. I mean the power is there, just making that clicking sound and vibrations. I had the prothane mounts recently put in cause my old mounts were shot. I definetly dont think its them though because the vibrations are there until 3k. Any ideas anyone?

Ok well in case anyone runs across the same problem i found out it was the exhaust hangers totally worn out...
