MPI relay vs. Mouse Piss

Just to make people aware. My MPI relay was shorted out by mouse piss. This ended up frying the relay, and preventing the car from running. Watch out for mice, they're not nice.

Tell me about it. Found this UNDER MY DASH! along with a dead mouse in my glove box next to another nest. There was a THIRD nest under the rear seat on top of the fuel tank access. That one was even larger than the one under the dash.

I trapped about 8 mice in about 3 weeks. Destructive little Fvckers. On top of that, the piss and sh!t smell is very difficult to get ride of. I stripped everything out of my car except the headliner, washed it, reinstalled it and it still smelled. I also had to clean out all of the vents as they were using them to store food. They destroyed much of the foam seals in the HVAC system. Luckily for me they didn't touch a single wire. Still it was the biggest mess I've had to deal with... I would rather pull an engine than do that shit again...

Edit: What I found under that nest was nasty... Piss and Sh!t CAKED onto the metal dash support. I had to scrape it off, and the smell was rancid. It took about 4 months to get rid of the smell in the car
