And I have no idea why! I come here very often with problems and always find an answer :D and of course always learn something new, so here's another question. My MPI fuse keeps blowing when you turn the key to ON, my only mods to the electrical system are as follows:

SAFC-II
Fan wired into BCS 12V line for temp fix till weekend (car didn't last till weekend though! LOL)
2G MAS

Where should I start, disconnect stuff 1 by 1 or what? Also, is everything fine being put together with crimps or should I really solder everything? Thanks!

Just something to check. My mpi fuse kept blowing out and it turned out to be my 02 sensor wires. They were pretty beat up. Swapped out the old sensor for a new one and no more blown mpi fuses.

my wires are old and beat up too, ack.... how can i be positive i eliminate possible causes if i take a look at it? is there really any way to tell?

Which fan. Not the radiator fan, I hope.

oh you better believe it!
I thought I told you to re-route the fan back to the stock harness if you were to find blown fuses which apparently you did.

i just got my car back today! right when i posted and ive been with my gf since, im just lookin for ideas on what to work on tomorrow im not avoiding your advice oldman your the shit :D
it was hooked up that way simply to get my car home without blowing the heagasket or paying 200 bucks to tow the damn thing when i got stuck at work. only afterwards did i ask about its safety. ill cut the wires tomorrow and gator clip on a cheap fuse to see if it blows right away or if it holds, wish me luck!

alright its back to original stock harness wiring, mpi fuse is good to go, but a new problem has arisen! when coolant temp sensor reaches temp to turn on fan, instead of the fan turning on it just blows the fuse! same fuse box, the rad fan fuse located in the box right on the battery. so now i'm assuming that there is a short somewhere, but i have no idea how to find it! anyone?
