I have a 1990 Talon Tsi and I am using my stock motor mounts on a 93 Tsi block and transaxle. The transaxle mount and the rear mount will line up, but the studs on the driver side are to spread apart the go in and the mount bracket on the front of the motor is in a complete different location. I need some advice on how to fix this or just what to do? Thanks

2g mounts are totally different then 1g mounts. On a 1g car, The actual front and rear mounts are on the engine, Where as on a 2g those mounts are on the trans. The passenger side trans mount also bolts up completly different on a 1g then a 2g, Aswell as the drivers side engine mount. You need to use the correct mounts for your car.
