Looking to find out what the most power made on stock cams is..... so far i have 425whp @ 20psi .
 
dont you mean that HUGE turbo with the HUGE intercooler looks sweet, everything else looks just like any other 4g63 for the most part....

why would you want to keep the stock cams though? youll gain a LOT of power if your already at 425 with stockers

if you want to keep "stock" cams and make more power, you should switch to 1993 cams, although they are still "stock" they are the most agressive cams of any dsm
 
I think he's just wondering what peoples power numbers are on stock cams, I'm sure he knows he can increase power by switching them out. 425 is pretty impressive, good job.
 
Thanks all .... i am just really looking to see what others have made with stock cams horespower wise regardless of the rest of there set up ... as it stands now i have 425 hp at the front wheels but i have a abnormal set up ... i will be pushing the car to 30 plus psi in hopes of geting 600whp ... but it would be nice to know what others have made .... i will also post some more pics soon of the engine .

I had no idea...So I have a 94 as my profile states. Do you know anything about cams in a 94? Are they the same as 93's or less?

Its more for information purposes. Its good to know, as my goals for horsepower may not justify new aggressive cams. Maybe my stockers will work just fine.

i had seen 400whp from my buddys car but now he runs like 875whp or something crazy like that and runs like 8's. youv done good with your stockers but id just upgrade them if youve got that much in to the motor why not spend the little money on some cams and see that number jump a quite a bit. but good luck

The radiator is in the front it looks like a intercooler but it a radiator and i am using a air water intercooler with a rear mounted heat exhanger i will post more pics when i have some time ....

If you mean the intercooler setup . it basically runs water threw it instead of air like on a front mount. so the water removes the heat from the charge. then the water is pumped to the back of the car where it is cooled by a intercooler that i converted to run water threw. then the water is pumped back threw the intercooler up front . seems to work well even on real hot days the intercooler is cool to the touch.
 
Just wondering are you running 4XX hp all the time? With that kind of setup seems like you could get alot more.

I do not drive the car much so yea 425 is all i have pushed it to so far . i am only running 20psi and on pump gas... when time allows i will but back on the dyno and run race fuel and see what we can get with 30-35 psi hoping for about 600-650 whp . but i am not sure if the stock cams will support that. thats why i am asking in this post the most power on stock cams .
