Hey guys I just got a moroso oil pan and I think its for the 420a neon it almost fits but the pick up tube hits the baffel inside so my question is can I put a pick up tube from the neon its longer and it seem like it will work but I'm not sure... has anybody used this oil pan

You're going to run into more problems than just the pick up tube when you try to put your cross member back on. No one makes a compatible oil pan for the eclipse's 420a because of the downpipe and cross member placement. This is all assuming you haven't made a custom front mount.

To answer your question, yes. So long as it bolts up and seals properly. It doesn't have a mechanical function other than being a straw for the oil pump.

EDIT* OBX used to make a compatible oil pan and are only found used or as a hidden holy grail in someone's bankrupt, small-town, speed shop.
