So I've been building a storage box inside my old pass. airbag spot since last Sept. It will eventually house the battery kill switch, fuel cut-off switch, and boost controller. As well as any other electronics that I end up getting. Here's a few pics...

I'm trying to maintain a stock look on the inside, free of visible gadgets and switches. Plus I don't need my daughter trying to play with something while I'm driving it...

I've been thinking about doing that for a while now. I wanted to be able to buy a cheap laptop to shove in there an run my Link cable through the dash. Was thinking about putting the lap top on slide out rails. Might be an idea for someone.

I think I would rather have an airbag there as my 2g is gonna be my DD.

I've been wanting to do this since I had my last 2 DSMs, but never got around to doing it. The only one I could need the airbag for is my daughter, but she's not old enough, or tall enough for it to be effective, and it'd do more harm to her. Plus this car will eventually be used for auto cross or road racing of some sort once I decide what I want to do.
