I'm doing a stock rebuild on one of my 420a's and was just wondering, how do you inspect the modular clutch? I am out of town at the moment and was just going through a checklist in my head so I can't physically look at one right now. They are riveted together, so how do you inspect it? I'm unaware of the mileage on the clutch, the guy I bought the car from threw a rod and I rebuilt the motor. Just wondering at the moment.

Lol, good idea...... but it's not installed on the car. The motor is still on the stand. I was just going through my checklist of things I need to do and things i need to replace. The previous owner said the clutch was good, but I have no clue what his definition of "good" is....

If your using it on your boosted car I would go ahead and replace it with something a little stronger. A warn modular clutch wont last long with the extra power you are making. Unless you cant afford the extra expense at the moment and want to take the chance of changing it out in a few months.
