okay a 1995-1996 mitsubishi eclipse have what i call half moon front bumpers and rear reverse lights

and the 1997-1999 eclipse have what i call round front bumpers and rear reverse lights

my Question is i saw a couple of eclipses on Ebay with oposite style rear bumpers. Did they make a couple models that way or do many people swap them? i know people do front end conversions to turn there 95-96 into a 97-99 but i never heard of people converting a 97-99 rear bumper to a 95-96. and there is more than just one or two poeple i saw like four or five?

It's probably someone's 2ga to 2gb conversion that didnt include the rear bumber. Some people, including me, like the 2ga rear with everything else 2gb.

^^^^same here...yeah i have a 2ga but i like the 2gb front bumper better and the rear of the 2ga looks better then the 2gb thats why ima do the front conversion

Probably a crash repaired on the cheap. The sheet metal and "frames" on all 2Gs are essentially the same. Differences are in the harnesses, and some bracing.
And, many thing the Feeding Carp/Belching Plecostomus 2Ga mouth is less than attractive. We call those people "misguided".
