Can you use the 3rd gen supra pump on a dsm? If so is it any good? What is the flow rate and do you need an aftermarket fpr?

You can use any fuel pump. Just a matter of wiring it up. Not sure on the flow rate but it should be more than a DSM pump. Also it is always a good idea to get a AFPR with a larger fuel pump but since it's more than likely not high flow you won't need one.

No Adam thats the MK IV pump that you are thinking about, I believe these two are different. But yes like 95blackGS Turbo said you can use any pump, and it will flow more then our DSM pumps most likely, I would figure based on Supra's, that it will flow around 200lph. That number is a guess but with Supra's needing lots of fuel, its slightly educated:p

You are thinking of the MK4 pump which is a lot easier to use.

No i am thinking of the 1987? to 1992. I want a 190lph and was wondering if this was around there because i have the supra pump sitting in my garage.

Sorry I was talking about Spooling99. It might be around there but your best bet would be to get a 190lph pump instead.

Yes, the MK IV Supra TT pump is ~290lph. You can also look into fuel pumps from other high performance cars (3000GT VR4, 1991-up 300ZX TT, etc.)

The Nissan 300ZX Turbo fuel pump (part number 17042-40P05) has been tested by RC Engineering to flow about 241 lph at 43 psi with 13.5 volts.
The Nissan Skyline fuel pump reportedly flows 310 lph at 43 psi.
The R32 Skyline came with a 190 lph pump, and the R33 Skyline had a 195 lph pump. In the April 2004 issue of Turbo & High-Tech Performance magazine, a stock R33 Skyline GT-R fuel pump was tested to flow 252 lph at 43.5 psi and 13.5 volts.

Hold on, I'm going to make a chart.

I have been looking on Supra forums for a while looking to see if there are specific flow numbers for the MK III pump, there are not. I would play it safe, and either get a Wally 190, or get an AFPR with that MK III pump.

Whoa, that took a little longer than I expected. Here's the chart I made... Good 'ol MS Paint.
