I'm in the middle of rebuilding my motor. Its a daily driven 97 GST so I'm not looking to make more than 400whp on occasion. I figure even with my lsd, traction issues will just become too much trouble at around 350whp on the street. So thats my daily power goals 350whp. Should I pay the extra money to have eagle rods put in. I heard the rods were the weak spot of the motor so by upgrading these its like adding some insurance. I also heard, the rod bolts were the weakest link and that if you go w/ ARPs on stock rods, you will have a real stout motor that should take 450whp all day. The last thing I will need is a rod bending at around 400whp and taking out my nicely done head. But also, the last thing I need is to spend more money on something I don't really need. So eagles or stockers w/ arp hardware?
