Mitsu Discontinued Tb Gaskets???

! The world is going to end! The 1g gasket that goes between the TB and the mani has been discontinued.... Our cars are officially getting old.

I just bought throttle body gaskets from the dealership a couple months ago. Tell your dealer to quit being lazy and look for them.

No that is not right, i had the same problem... The person at the dilership told me that they stoped making them.....

Just make your own gasket, it will take you some time .... but you'll save some money too..

They have to make it for 10 years after the last year of the car was made.

In case you missed it, 1g's were ceased in 1994....

Actually I did miss it, I just looked at the year of the car in your avatar.

To save face, I will suggest Advanced Auto

or make your own...

Go ask them for part number MD146399 91-92 or the MD125822 I just checked availabilty and both numbers show at least 20 in stock at MMSA Mitsu is getting weird on parts lately though

Ok, well I just got inner and outter TB gaskets from the dealer YESTERDAY and my car is 16 years old...

So try another dealership.

I had the same problem, ordered them from mentormitsu and when the shite came it said discontinued on teh receipt.
