Missing and backfire b4 boost

i know I have a boost leak @ the turbo compressor housing but the car has been running fine outside of the turbo there are no other leaks we have rebuilt throttle body. The car has ran fine this way for awhile then while driving down the road into the boost it almost sounded like an intercooler pipe blew off or a big backfire now I get terrible missing and some backfire between 2500-3000 rpmand it really wont boost. Below 2500 and idle it is perfect. It always starts right up. Doesnt idle rough and timing is good. Any Ideas?

Run a boost leak test, sound like not enough air and too much fuel

About every time a car I had, had a boost leak, turbo would spool loudly, yet no boost, and the escaping air would make a loud screetch sort of noise as the turbo attempted to make boost. I have owned 3 different turbo cars, all of which have blew off pipes, sounds like blow off valve for 2 seconds, and then when you get back on it, low if any boost and excess turbo noise.

I did a boost leak test and I have the same compressor housing leak I have always had. The rest of the system is solid no leaks. Recently rebuilt the throttlebody. It has been running just fine with the same compressor leak. I am thinking maybe coil pack or even ecu dunno. I do have a datalogger if only I knew what to look for on it

Swapped the coil pack out last night with new BPR7ES plugs and its no better. I guess next I'm going to try to fix the compressor housing leak in the 18G. I did note that in the driveway not under load the engine sounds fine. It can rev up past 3000 rpm with no problems but under load it backfires and blows black smoke.
