Misfire?coilpack?

Ok so my car had been acting up for a while it would periodically misfire and then stop. Then it totally misfired so i puled over tightened the plugs and stuff and it fixed it so i did that for a month or so and the check engine light came on. Now the check engine light is always on and it wont sop misfiring i checked the code and it says 44 which is Ignition Coil, Ignition Power Transistor. So if anyone knows do i need to repalce my coil pack and if so how do i do it. Please help i needed to leave for college today.

probably wouldnt hurt, go get one and undo the bolts...and go buy a chilton manual

i had the same problems... then it ended up being the coil pack... if you know anyone with a DSM borrow there coil pack and plug it in... if it runs then you know what yer problem is... new coil packs can cost up to 170+ just to let you know
