They tell me a 4G63 turbo is a "drop in" for a 1992 Mitsu Mirage, but I don't buy it.
They also tell me YOU might know something on this subect.
I have:
A Mirage with a blown 1.5L motor
A yard full of junk non-turbo 2.0L DSMs
And some used items off of my 1992 Talon Tsi

I could drop in a 2.0L non-turbo for about $200 but that would be no fun.

With the above and a crashed turbo DSM, what do I need to do to make this work?
What exactly gets removed on the Mirage and what do I replace it with?

The Turbo Mirage, it's a straight drop-in swap. The N/A, you need to swap the tranny as well, a good chunk of the engine harness (just swap it all), the engine and tranny mounts for the turbo version, and so on.

Have a Mirage that I'm saving up the cash to bump up to the 2.0L, myself. :)
