if there are any mighty max owners online right now hit me up. I want to put a new heart in my truck but the original 4g63 is to $$$$$$$$. I was thinking of either a vq35de out of a g35 or 350z. I know its going to be a custom job but looking for some insight........

the prices of the 4g63 used is about 2 grand which I don't want to spend b/c I still have other things I have to get for this truck. what are some other swaps you could think of that I could do........

You could do a 4gcs swap.

But a 4g63 should not even cost you close to that. You can find knes that run for less than 1000 if you keep a look out and you are patient.

I actually found one in NC for a reasonable price. I just have to get other things for the engine now. I'm excited this is my first dsm ever . What do you drive and how would I go and check out pics of other members.

I live in columbia sc , I was on Craigslist looking for different 4cyl engines and lucked up on a sweet 4g63 in goldsboro.

A Mighty Max isn't a DSM however they are a very cool Mitsu. vehicle. Those VQs are a boat anchor compared to the 4g. Unless of course you like spending more money on oil than gas then I mean, by all means!

I'm only mostly kidding. Hope the search for a 4g goes well.
