ok i decided on painting my car again this year and i wanted to get some opinions on the color i am going to choose its midnight blue. what would you think about this color on a 2G NT?? i dont think i ever saw one around with midnight blue
 
Thanks for the input guys! i think imma go for it. i am not too crazy for electric blue though its nice but not too much my taste. imma try to photoshop a 2g with midnight blue, but i think imma def go for it

anyone here have or have pictures of an 2g with midnight blue??

i already did the 50 dollar paint job and it came out perfect, but now that i got some experience under my belt imma try a real one

i mostly did it to prove ppl wrong to show u dont have to be doing it for 100 yrs to learn something new. telling me its not gonna come out right. now look :)
 
its close. looks nice least it gives me an idea. even if it came out like that it would be pretty nice. something about darker blue is sexy :thumb:
 
not bad its a little darker than the electric blue. still nice though

hey guys member how i said i was gonna paint the eclipse midnight blue. well i started stripping everything off and did some wetsanding, and hit the bare metal spots with primer. got my basecoat clear ready =) when everything is sanded gonna hit it with a couple of mils of high build primer ..heres some progress on it

yea i had to test it out i had itchy fingers LOL cant wait till its done. my car is in peices because its a color change

Midnight blue on your car would be great looking and give it that deep rich look if you went the extra mile and buffed and polished as well!:cool:

hey how do you fill in the 3 piece spoiler holes. ### some day i want to put a gsx spoiler on mine and i would definitely go for the blue you wanted. ive seen it on a evo and its awesome. and was also wondering how much a good paint job and body work would cost. please PM me.. good luck on the paint

actually i think you only have to close the holes up on the sides that hold the little pieces, and the tall spoiler will take place of the low profile one. so those hold are good to go.

as far as good paint job and body work your looks at 3000 easy unless u know someone. thats the average price i got around here anyway. thats what drove me to learn on my own
