Meth Injection Resevoir Location

Hey where's everyone installing their resovoirs? I've heard that it's possible to install it in the trunk. If done so, can you keep the windshield wiper resovoir and the spare? The one on : http://users.frii.com/maphill/wi.html doesn't really tell you how to.

As i've said before I hva ethe snowperofrmance stage2 kit.

I'm not too familiar with the 2g engine bay, but it's probably similar to a 1g. On a 1g directly below the charcoal canister there is a lot of room to mount a reservoir.

Its part of your emissions system it sits right below the battery.

I think the best idea if you want a clean install is to just use the factory windshield resevoir, this way your not bolting another one in your trunk as space in the engine compartment is very limited in the 2g's & another nice thing about using this method, the factory resevoir already has a low level warning light on the dash.

I have my tank bolted on to the back of one of my rear seats with the pump on the other one.

I agree. I wasn't able to do that with mine but that is a very good idea. I had to put mine in the back along with the pump. I had a pic of the back of my interior showing where I put my tank but for some reason all of my pics are gone from my gallery. Don't know what happened there.

1g's have this same light when the fluid is low? I've never seen it..But I guess I don't use washer fluid too much.

No I don't have a meth injection system yet, but thats the route I will be going when I get my setup. A couple local guys are setup like that & say it works great, apparently the factory resevoir is right around 4L.

I have mine installed in the windshield washer reservoir and it holds about a gallon. It is nice when the light warns you its runnin low that way you wont ever make a mistake and run low and cause a large problem.
