there was a little gap in the trimming on top of the car where the window closes and it had these little clips in it. i tried to take them out to close the gap because i think thats why i get water under the hatch when it rains. so i grabbed a little knife and moved them back and forth to try to get them to come out and know my power locks don't work. when i press the button all i hear is a click. what happened?

well your pics kinda suck, but if you DO still hear the door locks clicking your probably in good shape, do they pop open then close again or dont they move at all?? my best guess is you somehow either have blocked or bent the metal hanger that connects the motor to the door lock by your handle, or you actually somehow disconected it. take your door panel off (both sides) if you were messin with both, and see if the actuater rods are still conected both at the door lock motor and at the handle itll be pretty easy to see, hopefully thats your problem :thumb:

all i hear is aclicking sound but they dont move. they do move manually. it was on top of the car it has nothing to do with the door. on the roof of the car by where the window meets the trim thats where the clips were.

hope these help

after i found out the door locks no longer worked i messed with them again and they worked about 3 times on the passenger side.

WTF could be wrong. could there be a blown fuse? the click i hear comes from the center counsel and i only hear it when i press the button to unlock the doors. when i press it to lock them i dont hear anything. what the hell do those little things on top of the roof of the car have to do with my power locks? all i did was move them side to side and now this shit happens.

ok i just got home about 15 minutes ago and since my power locks weren't working i have to lock the doors by hand. i locked the passenger door by hand( from inside the car and this is also the first time i have locked it manually since they messed up). and then all of a sudden i hear the sound they make when you press the button to lock/unlock them. so i get out the car press it to lock them and BAM! they work again WTF . can any explain why this happened. i'm thinking she was just mad at me.

The wires in the doors wiring harness might be wearing out. After so many opening and closings the wire becomes brittle and cracks. Sometimes there's enough contact to make the locks work and other times the cracks may be too far apart and you end up experiencing this random work and not work situation. I'd try another harness if you can find one from a parts car and see what happens.
