Just installed downpipe. Now my car is acting really messed up.

Ok i just installed my megan dp. (cat eliminating) so i go down the road and give it 70% gas and its all good till i hit around 5k rpm then the car like stops all power like someone just pushed the clutch in. I dont know its really hard to explain. Its like the cars going going going then stops. I dont know if it goes after that because both times it happend i just put it in nuetral. I really need help with this because i have no idea what it could be i mena all i did was install a pipe.

DOes anybody contributing to this thread actually know what boost creep is from "firsthand" experience? If not remove the downpipe from your o2 housing and go for a spin. I reemmber running 16psi and watching my boost gauge hit 24psi with a quickness. It depends on the car and a handful of factors as to how much a particular setup will "creep" and when you will max out your fuel trims.

My setup creeped nearly 8psi

Ya i actually do know what BOOST CREEP is first hand ### i have experienced it and my buddy has experienced and so has my other buddy and a good port job fixes the problem everytime.
