Where did those of you running Megasquirt mount your ECU?
I'm planning on running MSII in the not to distant future and would like some ideas of where to mount the ECU.
The interior of my car is in very good condition so I don't want to chop it up or have the ECU hanging out in plain sight.
BTW: I have the JimStim and have made the 4/2 CAS mods to the ignition input and output of the MS main board. Everything seems to be working on the bench, is there anything I should watch for when installing it into the car?
How are you guys mounting the IAT sensor? I've thought about welding a bung to the 1G intake elbow for it, what do you guys think?
I've got an FSM that shows the voltages for the OEM coolant temp. sensors, have any of you guys used them with easytherm or has everyone switched to GM units.
Ultimate plans are to use the MSII to control the OEM boost control solenoid and IAC valve. Has anyone tried this yet?
Also, I have an Evo III 16g turbo and will be upgrading to 560cc/min Evo injectors with the install of MS, does anyone have an MSQ for a similar setup I could use as a starting point for tuning? I'll be running the MSII-Extra code.
