So I'm installing the Megan shifter I got a little while ago. I got it used and I think it might be missing a nut. My question is this: is there supposed to be a nut where the shifter connects to the purple piece that offsets the hole? There is a white nylon bushing thing in there with a threaded rod, but no nut on it. There seems to be excessive side to side play and I think that is why.

I still have a stock shifter but last time I checked there wasn't a nut I thinks it just clips on there. Maybe your shifter bushing is starting to go?
