Megan Racing Oil Temp Gauge

Bought one a while ago. Looked through the search function, havent found a definite solution. Went to tap the sender into the oil housing but the sensor is much smaller. Its 1/8 ". I have looked for adapters without much luck. Cant seem to find the exact size of fitting i would need also.

Is their a better place to install the oil temp sender unit.

i did hear something about tapping into the oil cooler lines, but how would that work

Theres an oil cooler plate you can buy that has the necessary size to put your oil temp guage in place without having to drill anything. ill try to find it again to tell you exactly where it is located.
