So I bought a used but almost brand new set of megan street series coilovers for my 1g. I like the adjustability of them and all but they are too damn stiff. The car is my daily and I would like to make the ride a little bit more comfortable with these coils. My question is, does anyone have any idea where I can find softer springs that would fit these coils? I'm going to call megan racing but it's Christmas and they are closed today. Any input is greatly appreciated thanks!

I can't even find any springs on their website so I have a feeling that they don't even sell any. I was thinking that maybe springs from a different brand might fit and be softer.

I assume you've tried adjusting the damper knob to the softest setting? Make sure you're not slammed, riding on the bumpstops is very uncomfortable.

According to this page the spring rates on your Megan EZ street coilovers are 12k front, 10k rear.

If you just need a little extra comfort on a budget you can swap the rear springs onto the front struts and buy one pair of new springs for the rear. I'd recommend 8" tall, 2.5" diameter, and around 250 to 350 pounds rate.

Hey man Thanks for the awesome input! I don't have the blue Ez streets, I have the red streets. I think the streets are stiffer than the ez streets but not completely sure. I have tried setting the dampening to all the way soft with no luck. Can't even tell the difference. I also have the preload on the springs all the way loose so that there is no extra tension on the spring. I literally feel every single bump in the road and the only suspension I have is the air in my tires.

Adjusting the spring preload has no effect on the spring rate, it just raises and lowers the car. So is the car raised or lowered?
