New car to me 96 eagle talon and new to dsm and turbos but pretty good at older porsche so know a thing or two. Bought the car with all the good stuff I thought. FMIC, g16, boost controller, safc, walbro 255, blow off valve and a ton off messed up connections.
Working through connection and trying re-establish functionality I have found the sensor supply voltage circuit to be running at about 1V it should be 5V. If I unplug the mass air flow sensor the rest of the system goes back to 5v. I assume then that there is a problem with the the mass air flow sensor.
The numbers on the sesor are 5Y07F E5T06071 6.09 just wondering if there is a known issue with this or if it is just bad. I tried a search and really didn't find anything about the sensor pulling down the the rest of the system.
Concluded the volume air sensor must be faulty. Found a used one plugged it in and all is happy happy happy. Sensor circuit voltage at all sensors back at 5V
