mas thowing CEL, after new mas?

Just finished motor droped in about a month ago, the CEL came on soon as i started it up. I timed it delt with a bosst leak issue and trying to deal with some eletrical issues. Anyhow its volume air flow senser, so i check out harness seemed to be ok so I went and got a 2g mafs. spliced and soltered new harness . plugged it in started it up and ill be damned the CEL throw the same code. Now before I get 10 post's about check my wiring I already have. (I search before I post and I normally find what Im looking for but not this time.) The mafs is right, the safc2 is installed right, the car ran before without 2g mafs with no codes. I need specs on where the wire in the harness go to, and resistance or volts of what they should have, I think I have a broken or damaged wire. I saw the 2g mafs work in the car i got it from. also already reprogramed my chip for it i dont belive it wold throw a cel anyway. Thanks in advanced I hope someone can help me out I need to get this car running so I can spank on these 11sec v8 cars around here that think our cars cant break 10's!!!
