MAS and Intake Pipe

Hello again!

I tried doing a search and was just attacked with information of the 2G MAS on a 1G application..

I have a stock 1G and I'm slowly building it up. I am looking in to purchasing an Intake pipe at this point.

I'm assuming since I have the stock 1G MAS its the 3" MAS (Unlike the 2G 4") and the FP intake pipe should fit with just a basic coupler (I'm going with FP because Later down the road I will be upgrading to the 2G MAS)

Are my assumptions correct?

I have a 2g Dejon Tool hard intake pipe with a 2g MAF and filter if you are interested. $120 shipped for everything. It would be a great mod for your car when you get DSM Link!

As far as the 1G MAS and the FP intake pipe are concerned.. is this gonna be an issue?

No, thats why I'm sticking with the 1g for now.

If you can find a 1g hard intake pipe buy it..I should have kept the one on the talon I sold.Cause You cant find them no more.

If you read his post he is sticking with the 1g maf for now. Yeah a reducer should work. I believe it will have to be a 4"- 3 1/4" or 3 1/8"
