I bought a boost control to install in my 98 eclipse. I have bypassed and unplugged the wastegate solenoid that is controlled by the car.
My question is correct me if im wrong but shouldnt a manuel boost contral valve when turning for less boost, shouldnt it stop turning?
I installed the controler tonight and bypassed the solenoid ext.. When I was done installing the controler I went for a drive keep in mind I had tried to turn the knob all the way off, but it never stopped turning... Anywho.. when boosted it flys by the 15psi and is burred in the 20mark and I can tell its not even that much boosted yet.. My boost when controlled by the car would stop at 15 psi on the gauge. figured with the controler closed to min it shouldnt go that much further over 15 if it was going to not like 20 and boost weird..
Could this be the controler itself that is bad? As in like statted before shouldnt the knob stop turning when lowering boost..?

if all else fails ill just go back to the stock solenoid for now..
