I have a 99 GSX auto with an "rvr" 4g63t motor. I think. The reason I'm asking is because I had to find a 95/96 harness which has the CAS on the same side as the JDM motor. But the only harness I could find came out of a 95 Talon TSI AWD Manual Trans. Can I use this harness and just splice the connectors for the auto trans from the old harness? Which has been hacked on alot! Another reason I'm changing harnesses.

You shouldn't have to splice anything. If im correct, all the auto connectors run to the automatic ECU. Although they do run with all the other connectors together in the harness. I would take out your old harness and open up your wire loom to dissect the auto connectors out. Then just run them in with your 95 Talon loom. It will be time consuming to open up both looms but it will be worth it.

I believe the only connector you will have to splice/cut is the reverse light sensor. In the Manual trans, the sensor is its own connector. In the Auto trans the reverse sensor is in the main trans connector. Hope this helps and istn too confusing.
