ok so today i noticed my top right bolt on ym turbo manifold was loose and i couldn't tighten it at all i tried i pulledi t out and it still had thread... so I'm thinking the bottom where the bolt connects on the turbo might be broke ? any opinions I have'nt gotten under there to check . But it doesn't seem to be affecting my performance at all I still boost normal and everything .Should I be worried?

wait ... nevermind I think the bolt snapped toward the bottom because aren't the mani bolts suppoked to coem to a tip? this one looked broke .. so its probably being held on by the broken part LOL

? I'm confused. But if your talking about the studs coming from the head through the exhaust manifold, the ends are rounded like say a Bic pen. Not pointed. Those are inserted into the head and I personally use a par of vice grips to tighten them into head then install my gasket and exhaust manifold on them and torque the copper nuts to 18-20lbs. The studs have two ends of thread, a short threaded end and a long threaded end. The short end goes into the head and the long threaded end sticks out. In between the threaded ends is a smooth shaft that "should" either just barely enter the head or meet up with it. The exhaust manifold flange should be thick enough to cover the smooth shaft.

And the 4 bolts that hold the exhaust manifold to the turbo exhaust housing those are 75-80mm long bolts. That's if you have a stock 1g,2g,Evo manifold.

yes the ones form mani to turbo one just slides out . I looked for a new bolt and found a knew one but it came to a not a sharp point but to a point none the less and the one I pulledo ut looks like it broke off part of the threads . So I'm guessing the bolt snapped at teh bottom so when i get my new mani i'll drill the part out and then put in a new bolt
